#HopelessRomanticB&B: Just like home.
My wife and I stayed in the Merlot Suite from June 24 to June 28. The room was everything you would expect from a 5-Star hotel. It is beautifully decorated and fully equipped to make you feel right at home. With the private balcony offering an interesting view of the lake and valley, it is a pleasure to bring back a good bottle of wine and enjoy a quiet dinner with a superb sunset. Leagh, the owner, made herself available to cater for our every need, also providing great recommendations for wineries to discover. Beside the challenge of carrying the luggages down and up a narrow and steep staircase, as the Merlot suite is located in the lower part of the B&B, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Hopeless Romantic to anyone looking for a unique B&B conveniently located off the hills of kelowna (northeast region of the lake)
For those looking to discover the southern part of the Okanagan valley, we strongly recommend splitting your stay in two different location as it is easily a 2 hours drive to the beautiful Osoyoos/Oliver region. Something near Namarata would be a wise and beautiful choice... Driving back and forth to discover everything the valley has to offer can be tiresome.
